As schools re-open across England, it is a joy for teachers to welcome their children back into the classrooms.
The children have been sorely missed and all schools working to create a sense of warmth and welcome.
Teachers are concentrating first on the welfare, social and emotional needs of the children. This means creating plenty of opportunity to play, sing, draw, paint and socialise again with friends and reconnect with teachers.
Learning comes best when children are happy, relaxed and feel loved.
Here is a film from our friends at Brighton Waldorf School who re-opened this week.
